StatementD.I.Y. duo Ginger Dunnill and Cannupa Hanska are contributing artists in Santa Fe based art collective Humble. Cannupa is currently attending IAIA with a focus in ceramic and has done various workshops on mask making and collaborative art installations that have involved mentoring aspiring young artists. Ginger graduated from SFSU with a BA in theater, focusing on set design and has worked as a mentor for youth around the world focusing on poetry, music and event production. Ginger and Cannupa have merged closer the Santa Fe DIY community by participating the Humble collective in events with Santa Fe's Meow Wolf, High Mayhem, Team Everything, The Complex, Wisefool, and Warehouse 21. Provoking a non-separatist perspective by sharing ideas, Ginger and Cannupa have been able to teach and learn as individuals along with sustaining a supportive role in thier progressive community. As artists, this duo incorporates live art, masked performance, puppetry, quick wit poetry, and original music composition to create a dialog with the imagination. All of these mediums and more are used to explore new ideas and to open an invitation for the spectator to also become the artist.
