The 2010 Biennial of the Americas is an international event that celebrates the culture, ideas and people of the Western Hemisphere, hosted by the City of Denver.

BiographyIan Carter entered the world of Social Entrepreneurship by launching a peer mediation and peer counseling program when he was 14 years old with the support of Ashoka's Youth Venture. Soon after, he became the first member under eighteen on the Bill Wilson Center's Board of Directors, the first youth to be appointed to the Santa Clara County Human Relations Commission and continued his involvement with Youth Venture and Ashoka in an advisory capacity. After graduating from the University of Oregon, Ian was admitted to the University of Colorado Law School as a Hank Brown Leadership Scholar. In addition, Ian is the Program Manager for the CU Changemaker Campus Program and is working on a variety of Social Entrepreneurial initiatives.
