We are excited for a special and unique CultureHop this week at Blast Tech, owned and operated by Culture Club member Baret Walker! Blast Tech is a Colorado-based, family-owned business, providing specialty abrasive blasting to the Front Range since 1993. Located in Englewood, Blast Tech runs three large blasting booths. Using proprietary methods to remove paint, primer, rust, and debris, Blast Tech works with virtually all types of metal, wood, stone, ceramic, fiberglass, and plastic for automotive, industrial, artistic commercial, and needs. Join us for this exciting tour and learn about the fabrication side of art!
About CultureHop:
The Biennial of the Americas' CultureHop program is designed to bring Culture Club members closer to the vibrant art and cultural scenes across the Americas right here in Denver. CultureHop invites participants to join curated Friday morning tours of artist studios, galleries, museums, and cultural spaces. Each week, members will "hop" between different creative venues, offering them an intimate and behind-the-scenes experience with local artists, curators, and cultural leaders. Meetups will feature coffee and pastries from local coffee shops.
The program provides a unique opportunity to engage with local artists, spaces and galleries to explore diverse cultural expressions, and foster meaningful connections within the arts community. It's a great way for art enthusiasts and cultural explorers to stay connected to the creative pulse of Denver and build greater appreciation for the Americas.
