For this week’s CultureHop, Culture Club Members will be hopping over to the vibrant studio of Denver-based artist Michael Gadlin at Blue Silo Studios. Known for his dynamic abstract works that blend painting, collage, and found materials, Gadlin’s art reflects his bicultural upbringing and deep community ties. His studio, filled with natural light and creative energy, offers a unique glimpse into his process and the stories behind his pieces. Join us for an intimate tour and conversation with one of Denver’s most influential contemporary artists.
About CultureHop:
The Biennial of the Americas' CultureHop program is designed to bring Culture Club members closer to the vibrant art and cultural scenes across the Americas right here in Denver. CultureHop invites participants to join curated Friday morning tours of artist studios, galleries, museums, and cultural spaces. Each week, members will "hop" between different creative venues, offering them an intimate and behind-the-scenes experience with local artists, curators, and cultural leaders. Meetups will feature coffee and pastries from local coffee shops.
The program provides a unique opportunity to engage with local artists, spaces and galleries to explore diverse cultural expressions, and foster meaningful connections within the arts community. It's a great way for art enthusiasts and cultural explorers to stay connected to the creative pulse of Denver and build greater appreciation for the Americas.
