Justin LeRoy will be joined by artists Andrea Bowers and BMike at Fábrica de Arte Américas in Downtown Denver from April 26-30, 2023. Artist Justin LeRoy will present Lay Me Down in Praise, a three-channel film installation that asks how the scream, moan, and melisma—also known as the vocal run—provide a sonic route toward Black environmentalism. Andrea Bowers will showcase Protest Ribbons, colorful ribbons silk screened with messages that bring urgent focus to social justice and our current climate emergency. BMike will feature Ephemeral.Eternal from his first solo exhibition at Eternal Seeds.
