Amy Friedman serves as US Senator Michael Bennet's Chief of Staff. She has been working with Senator Bennet since 2019 when she jointed his team as the State Director. Prior to working for Senator Bennet, Amy served as the President & CEO of Book Trust, a national literacy based non-profit organization. At her core, Amy is both a learner and educator. This comes from her time working in Denver Public Schools as a teacher and school district leader, including serving as the Chief of Staff to the Superintendent. Amy is a passionate leader with more than two decades of experience in the public sector helping organizations and people tackle their most challenging issues. Doing work that improves others' lives is Amy's guiding star. Amy loves the outdoor lifestyle Colorado offers and lives in Denver with her husband and two teenage children.
