Coro Strandberg is President of Strandberg Consulting and a trailblazing Canadian strategist in social purpose, sustainability, and ESG. With over 35 years of experience across business, government, and the non-profit sector, she works with boards, industry associations, and governments to embed purpose-driven strategies that address social and environmental risks while advancing long-term value. She is a cofounder and current Chair of the Canadian Purpose Economy Project and cofounder of the United Way BC Social Purpose Institute. A former Board Chair of Vancity Credit Union, Coro helped position the institution as a global leader in sustainable banking during the 1990s. She currently serves on the board of BC Lottery Corporation and several national sustainability advisory committees.
An expert in transformational sustainability, Coro advises organizations on integrating purpose across strategy, governance, operations, procurement, HR, finance, and risk. She works with industry associations to help entire sectors become more sustainable and supports governments in leveraging business for public good. A faculty member with Governance Professionals of Canada and the Director’s College, she trains directors and governance professionals on purpose and sustainability oversight.
