Dr. Maryam Zeineddin
Founder | Zili CARE; President | BC Family Doctors
Dr. Zeineddin, is a local Northshore family doctor and a business owner of a group family practice clinic with over 15000 patients. She is the current President for BC Family Doctors, the political and economic voice of all family doctors in BC, and the founder of Zili CARE, a preventative health platform bringing tools and insights on how we can care for ourselves so we can care for others. She is a recent recipient of woman of year award from BC Business Magazine as a change maker and she is the award winner from doctors of BC negotiations team. She is a health care leader and past negotiator to one of the biggest changes in primary care in the last two decades of British Colombia's health care system history, attracting more than new 1000 family doctors to longitudinal care.
She is an avid teacher and faculty of family practice residency at UBC. Her method of lifestyle counselling at Zili CARE and in her practice includes her experience as a family doctor of two decades and her mentorship by Dr Gabor Mate with compassionate inquiry counselling. She believes that mental, physical and emotional health is not only interconnected but considered one with our overall health and wellbeing.
