Greg Graeber

Greg Graeber is a senior nonprofit and investment executive with more than two decades of experience in foundation leadership, credit markets, and real estate finance. As the incoming President of the East Angel Foundation (EAF)—one of the nation’s largest public high-school foundations—Greg now oversees strategy, fundraising, and grantmaking that provide student financial assistance, annual faculty and staff innovation grants, and capital improvements to Denver East High School’s historic campus. He previously chaired the EAF Scholarship Committee, directing the allocation of $75,000 in annual awards to graduating seniors.
Since 2006, Greg has been a partner at G2 Capital Group LLC, managing the acquisition, restructuring, and disposition of distressed loans and real estate assets across the United States. Earlier in his career, he served as Senior Vice President and loan trader at Matrix Bank in Denver, specializing in secondary-market whole-loan trading.
Greg holds a B.A. and an MBA from Northwestern University and began his professional life as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand. This experience continues to inform his commitment to community service and sustainable impact. A proud Denver East High School graduate, he brings a data-driven, mission-focused approach to advancing educational opportunity and preserving institutional heritage.
