Each year, the Biennial hosts international Culture Trips and Summits for an opportunity to experience the booming economy and vibrant cultural landscape of destinations across Canada and Latin America!
Create educational & cultural opportunities
We present a variety of learning opportunities including workshops and expert panel discussions featuring some of the Hemisphere’s most inspiring global leaders.
Feature & promote rising leaders
The Youth Congress for Sustainable Americas is a robust network of young environmental leaders from 15 different countries. The delegates meet annually for leadership development and collaboration opportunities.
Amplify & embrace diverse cultures
This Biennial festival celebrates art, culture, music, and food from North, Central, South America and the Caribbean. Cósmico Americas is a free community event bringing people together to embrace the diversity of the Americas.

To promote Colorado’s agriculture, geothermal, and small business sectors, Governor Polis is joining a delegation of Colorado leaders this week as part of the Biennial of the Americas Summit. At the summit, the Governor will meet with local leaders to strengthen the economic and cultural connections between Colorado and Costa Rica while participating in the Biennial of the Americas Summit, to bolster Colorado’s international partnerships.
