Join us for a look at artist Olive Moya’s newest 47,000 sq.ft. mural at the Denver Pavilions, followed by a hands-on creative experience inspired by the ideas and imagery woven throughout the work.

Olive will share the story behind the mural, her creative process, and the layers of place, memory, and community that shaped the piece. Then, get a little hands-on with Cut + Paste Café, a collaborative art-making experience where participants will transform and remix imagery through a series of creative prompts, adding their own layer to the story, at The Meet Cart.

About Olive Moya

Olive Moya is a Denver-based multidisciplinary artist whose work explores place, memory, connection, and the ways imagery can evolve through repetition and reinterpretation. Her practice moves across painting, collage, and community-based projects, often inviting people to participate in the process of making and meaning-making. 

About the Meet Cart

The Meet Cart is a mobile, playful platform created by local creative Emily Hope Dobkin that brings people together through joyful, low-pressure creative experiences. It’s a space where unfamiliar people can become unexpected pals, and where everyday places can become opportunities for curiosity, conversation, and connection.

Rooted in the belief that creativity can be a bridge to empathy, collaboration, and shared experience, the Meet Cart brings simple prompts, micro art activities, and invitations to reflect and connect into unexpected community spaces. Like the mural itself, each interaction becomes another layer: a small contribution that adds to a larger, evolving story of place and the people who inhabit it.

Parking in the area is Pay to Park. Some options are the lot in front of the mural, underground parking (entrance on Welton) or cheaper street parking around if found. We recommend looking ahead of time for a lot that works best for you or booking a spot through SpotHero.
