Artist Bio:
Adam Geluda Gildar is a Denver-based interdisciplinary artist whose work uses repetition, fragmentation, and ritual to unsettle linear perceptions of time and memory. In ink painting, collage, and sculpture, Geluda Gildar creates modular emotional landscapes that can be reconfigured like memory, forming composites of lived experience, found materials, and fabricated narratives. Recurring materials include analog forms of physical memory storage, such as film and audio tape, which are unraveled and manipulated to create new forms from largely inaccessible content.
In performance and installation works made with Adam GG and the Right on Time, a collective they lead, participants are invited to sustain looping karaoke songs for hours, so that time’s shape can be felt rather than counted. Through human interaction, ritual, and even absurdity, the experience of time and narrative can begin to wobble, opening onto more expansive ways of perceiving ourselves and one another as temporal beings.
Exhibition History:
Geluda Gildar’s recent solo exhibitions include Timequake: Between the River and the Sea at Colorado State University (2025) and Teach Me to Disappear at Smith & Drake (2026). Their work was also recently included in Emmanuel Gallery’s 50th-anniversary exhibition, Come Together, and in the University of Denver’s yearlong exhibition Sympathetic Objects. Adam GG and the Right on Time currently has an installation on view at the Arvada Center through November 8, 2026. The collective also recently received a Producing Partners grant from Denver Arts & Venues to produce the 24-hour performance Time After Time After Time over New Year’s Eve 2027–28 at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.
