Dave is a native of Panama, began his career in the construction industry in 2001 while attending Southern Illinois University–Edwardsville. After earning a degree in Construction Management, Dave progressed through a broad range of leadership roles, including Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Estimator, Design Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, and Construction Manager. This diverse background has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the construction process from early planning and design through execution and delivery.

In his current role as Construction Manager with PCL’s Denver office, Dave provides executive‑level oversight for a diverse portfolio of complex commercial and civic construction projects. He is responsible for client relationship management, ensuring expectations are clearly defined, risks are proactively addressed, and stakeholder priorities are aligned. Dave is known for his ability to coordinate the ideas, perspectives, and concerns of owners, designers, contractors, and community partners to drive projects toward successful outcomes.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Dave is deeply committed to community engagement and civic leadership. He has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations in the Denver metro area, including Mi Casa Resource Center, Clayton Early Childhood Center, Aurora Public Schools Foundation, Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation, and Colorado Succeeds. He is also a graduate of Leadership Denver, Class of 2015 and a participant of Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Exchange 2025
