The Biennial of the Americas partnered with CU Denver’s College of Arts & Media (CAM) to bring together an intimate group of supporters for an unforgettable journey to Mexico City Art Week 2026—one of Latin America’s most vibrant celebrations of contemporary creativity.

This curated trip blended experiential learning, artistic discovery, and meaningful cultural exchange, creating opportunities to connect across generations and geographies while exploring one of the world’s most dynamic creative capitals..

Participants got the chance to join our scholars and partners for a curated, four-day exploration of Mexico City’s thriving art scene. Together, we’ll experience the energy of Art Week, discover hidden creative spaces, and share ideas that transcend borders.

About the Partnership

This collaboration leveraged the Biennial’s cross-continental network and CAM’s academic expertise to foster learning and leadership across borders.

Key Features:

  • Experiential Learning: Students attended major exhibitions and art fairs, including ZONAMACO and Material, alongside studio visits and cultural site tours.

  • Professional Networking: Participants connected with peers, mentors, and leaders through Biennial-led engagements and shared experiences.

  • Ongoing Engagement: Each student received a complimentary Biennial Culture Club membership, ensuring continued access to cultural events and professional networks year-round.

Together, we built pathways for future creative leaders while deepening cultural understanding across the Americas.
