Patricia Crumley

Patricia Crumley is a Vice President at Jacobs. She leads strategic business initiatives across the Caribbean and Latin America and manages a portfolio of water projects in the region. She currently serves as director for Project Hostos, a multi-billion-dollar energy infrastructure project that will connect Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Patricia has over 20 years of experience bridging implementation strategies with operations.

Patricia began her career as a System Architect, integrating legacy systems into a new operational data storage and the corresponding applications into Service Oriented Architecture infrastructure for banking delivery channels. Upon obtaining her engineering license, she became the Field Geotechnical Engineer for the construction of a 1.2 km earthen off stream dam, supervising geotechnical construction for quality control and assurance and field technicians.

Patricia has held various high-ranking positions within the Government of Puerto Rico, including Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor in 2012. She served as Director of Planning and Environmental Protection for the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority in 2011, where she prepared and delivered presentations to PREPA’s Board of Directors, legislators, and media; managed all aspects of private large-scale co-generators and renewable energy contracts; and was actively involved in all aspects concerning monthly client billing, forecasting, and projections. She helped implement a new residential consumer tariff.

Patricia is a licensed Professional Engineer in Puerto Rico and Virginia, a certified Project Management Professional, and fluent in English and Spanish. She is experienced in stakeholder management and engagement. Patricia is an active member of MIT’s Educational Council, helping recruit, interview, and respond to questions or concerns of admissions candidates and prospecting students.
