Double Vision

A CUlture CLub Exhibition

The 2025 Biennial Festival featured our first ever Culture Club Exhibition, Double Vision, a celebration of the artists of the Biennial of the Americas Culture Club. Inspired by the Nahuatl word Nepantla, the space between worlds, this exhibition honors the beauty, wisdom, and emotional power that arises when we hold complexity with care. Double Vision explores the tension and clarity that comes from holding two or more truths at once. The exhibition invites reflection on the multiplicities that shape life across the Americas: cultural hybridity, historical rupture, diasporic identity, and dual belonging.

Curated by Esther Hernandez, Double Vision featured works from ANDUBA, Saul Acevedo Gomez, Marcos Acosta, Donna Rae Altieri, Ana González Barragán, Jeannene Bragg, Tatiana Cullen, Diego Florez-Arroyo, Moe Gram, A.L. Grime, Galen Juracek, Deborah Lawrence Schafer, Jon Marcantoni, Larysa Medina, Juls Mendoza, Nova Mountain, Sergio Noé Perez Reyes, Markus Puskar, Bala Thiagarajan, Alicia L. Trujillo, and Mario Zoots.

On view from October 15-26, 2025, at the 2025 Biennial Festival in Writer Square, Downtown Denver
