Join Culture Club as we explore Jasmine McGlade's sculptural work at her studio in Downtown Denver.

About:
Jasmine McGlade is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist whose visual art practice focuses on sculpture, installation, and painting. Drawing on her background as a writer and storyteller, she makes narrative and satirical work exploring the human condition, gender roles, and intergenerational impact. Much of this personal work explores her anxiety about mortality. In her sculpture practice, she works primarily in assemblage, creating handmade forms presented alongside vintage found objects such as mannequin parts, garments, and domestic materials, particularly items from her childhood and those passed down from her family.
