Each night, Sobremesa will be screened as four 'episodes' with three intermissions, accompanied by a five-course menu, including wine and cocktail pairings. No CUBE this time, just one big screen, 12 seats per night — two tables of 6 — in the sublime FM Lounge with their custom audio system.
HISTORY
Monkey Town began in New York City as a 4-screen "cube" cinema, dining and performance space, where it ran for 10 years from 2003 - 2013. It travelled to Denver (2014), Barcelona (2015), Austin (2016), Los Angeles (2016) and Mexico City (2019).
In 2014, Monkey Town ran for 4 months, with over 6,000 attendees in RiNO at the EXDO Center. Partnered with MCA Denver, the program presented more than two dozen local artists and performers, alongside national and international artists.
