What is space? Is it a container? Is it a void? Is it matter? What separates inside from outside? The definition of inside and outside is not just a binary approximation to the conceptualisation of space; it depends on references we use in order to determine the location of something contained by something else. The inside of something could be at the same time the outside of something else. Where are you?

It was first developed during Pablo Kobayashi’s and Lucía Aumann’s 2025 residency at Platform in Vaasa, Finland.
Now, Biennial of the Americas is bringing the work to Denver for its first installation in the United States.
