Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City, Mizraim Cordero’s journey has always centered on connecting communities and creating opportunity. Today, he serves as a regional leader at United Airlines, overseeing external and government affairs across eleven states in the American Mountain West and partnering with civic, business, and government leaders to advance shared priorities. He also serves as National Vice President of Somos, United’s Latino Business Resource Group, championing inclusive leadership and employee engagement nationwide.
Previously, Mizraim led government affairs at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and for Commerce City, focusing on economic policy and community partnerships. Appointed by Mayor Michael Johnston, he serves in the Denver Impact Fund Board and has served for the past four years on the board of the Biennial of the Americas.
He holds degrees from Lehman College, New York University (MSW), and the University of Denver (MBA), and lives in Denver with his partner Jocelyn and daughters Amelie and Olivia.
